Our Pre-School classes are held in a separate gym, which allows the children the opportunity to better focus on their class. All equipment is scaled down so that it is more appropriate for their size & development. As our tiniest athletes experience the joy of gymnastics they are also developing coordination, strength, balance & self-confidence.

         

Mom & Tot (18 Months - 3 Years)

This class is guided by an instructor as the parents assist their children in learning beginning gymnastics skills.


 3 Year Olds

Development of gross motor skills is emphasized, as children learn basic skills on four gymnastics events. Parents are invited to watch from our viewing area & let the instructor do all the work.


4 & 5 Year Olds

Classes are designed for the athlete to continue to explore & improve their skills.

It is our policy that our athletes learn through a pattern of progression as prescribed by the USAG - the governing body for gymnastics in the USA.The program is structured to advancethe athletes as they progress through various skill levels.

Girls Gymnastics Classes (Ages 6 & Up)
Beginner - emphasizes building basic skills, flexibility & strength.


Intermediate - for those who have completed our beginner program or are evaluated at the next level.


Advanced - by Invitation only.

Tumbling
Beginner - emphasizes building basic tumbling & trampoline skills.

Intermediate - for those who have completed our beginner program or evaluated at the next level.


Advanced - by Invitation only.

 

Mat Trotters Gymnastics has a competitive gymnastics team. We like to have fun but also be competitive.

We follow the guidelines and are members of the USAG, the governing body of the sport in the USA. 

Entry level for the competitive program is Level 4 and starting at the age of 6. Mat Trotters Gymnastics has had many Individual, Team, Sectional, State, Regional, & National Champions.

Our competitive program is by invitation and evaluation only.
